Well the second season is more dramatic and even tragic(you can cry your eyes out ) and the first season is more like a high school romance(slice of life) not to dramatic and also comedic at some point
I think Clannad is the best because it has a lot of emotions and truths about life in it (it starts with the naiveness of the high school students that wants to be love and noticed then it transforms to the responsibilities of the adults.
