@FanOf1788 OH MY !@#$ING GOD! Transformers isn’t a goddamn anime for the trillionth !@#$ing time! It was a toyline created by Hasbro that was turned into a comic book by Marvel Comics and then a cartoon by Marvel Productions. None of the scripts were produced in? Japan and nothing was contributed by them aside from animation.

@Grimm5667 i will agree Speilburg isn’t the best one when it comes to anime just look at transformers. i think if thy are going to do ghost in the shell they will have to take that time to find the right director and actors god knows we do have some great female actors that will fill the roll of major.?

i am happy that a lot of anime are coming to the big screen i would love to see how they would do ghost in the shell with the technology? we have to day. i was happy when speed racer came to big screen. but the only thing is that i want them to find the right actors and producers when they do go into production.

ORIGINAL IDEAS DONT COME FROM MONEY…comes from a creative vision. In movies, vision and story work together but which comes first? its like the chicken or the egg. If it wasnt for one movie you would not have a lot of the anime that you have…and that movie is BLADE RUNNER!!!! the story is important but in? Japan story and imagery is digested as one manifistation, manga. But all anime isnt scifi i know…

HATE THE GAME, DONT HATE THE PLAYER!!! DONT GET MAD AT HOLLYWOOD FOR BUYING THE RIGHTS!Japan sold out. At the end of the day you will have good examples to show your kids why anime is hot and Hollywood is not. Hopefully your kids wont be inspired by the lame remakes coming out. Then they will grow up thinking the wack shit is the cool shit. All this CGI EYECANDY is brainwashing the creative minds to come. NO VISION OR FORESIGHT IS NEEDED. THE TOOL SHOULD NOT CONTROL the? VISION.

@DXshadow91 I actually disagree with you and think Zac Efron would be perfect for? Light/ Kira. I know.. I’m going to get hate comments from Death Note fans and don’t get me wrong.. I’m not a fan of his either BUT he looks like a real life replica of Light and if he has a good director coaching him through.. who knows ? I say gave him a chance and he might suprise us. Hey, Disney wanted to fire Johnny Depp for POTC and look how that turned out..you never know….

@unperfect6 They are… and I WANT TO KILL WARNER BROTHERS for doing an Hollywood live action film. The director is Peter Segal, who? directed Anger Management and Get Smart..the WORST DIRECTOR CHOICE because all the films he’s directed are comedy and is rumored to be out in 2012.. no word yet on an actual release date and it was taken off Warner Brother’s website a while back…that’s the only recent news we’ve heard was from 2010.
